SPOILED is a theatrical work that examines gender-based violence (GBV) based on true stories of displaced, marginalized, and silenced women and girls. The project dives beneath the unspoken truths of fathers and sons, brothers and lovers, intimates, and strangers, to uncover the tangled, messy roots of GBV. The stories are told from the male point of view but are embodied by an ensemble of diverse female performers who breathe life into searing portrayals based on real encounters, that resonate with Codice Rosso in Italy.
